HOW DOES INUSpherese® WORK AND WORK?
INUSpheresis® uses intelligent filters to purify the blood in a unique way. Essentially, it's an environmental apheresis that uses DFPP – double-membrane filtration plasmapheresis – to remove a wide range of contaminants from the blood.
At the beginning of the procedure, blood is taken from the body.
The plasma is then separated from the blood cells, followed by targeted filtration of the plasma.
After this step, the purified plasma and blood cells are reunited and transfused back to the patient.
The application includes two different filters that specifically remove harmful metals (such as aluminum, mercury, gadolinium), immune complexes (triggers of autoimmune diseases and allergies), industrial toxins (such as plasticizers, paints, and flame retardants), toxic substances, inflammatory mediators, and other harmful elements.
HOW DOES INUSpherese® THERAPY WORK
The INUSpherese® blood dialysis is performed in our practices or therapy center and lasts approximately 2-3 hours.
During the treatment, the patient lies in a comfortable recliner chair, where two venous accesses are inserted and connected to the blood purification system via tubes. Throughout the entire treatment, the patient is continuously monitored using monitoring technologies (ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation), and trained staff closely monitor the progress.
A drain port is placed on one arm and a blood inlet port is placed on the other. During the treatment, the blood passes through a highly specialized filter system known as double-membrane filtration plasmapheresis.
Step 1:
Plasma is separated from blood cells.
The first filter separates the fluid (blood plasma) from the blood cells.
Step 2:
Plasma cleaning through the 2nd filter.
The second filter cleans the blood plasma of harmful substances, with the filter being adjusted according to the individual needs of the patient to remove the harmful substances.
Step 3:
return of blood.
The purified blood is returned to the bloodstream.
The filtered material (eluate) is sent to a laboratory for analysis to identify the exact pollutants in the blood, which in turn serves as the basis for further therapies.
In addition, the patient receives individually tailored orthomolecular therapy consisting of vitamins, minerals and substances that promote detoxification.
An electrolyte solution is infused to maintain optimal fluid flow. It is recommended that patients drink and eat plenty of fluids before treatment.
Important NOTE:
Patients who have not previously undergone any treatment must have a preliminary consultation. A consent form is also required, which should be signed at least 24 hours before the start of therapy.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU PERFORM AN INUSpherese® BLOOD DIABETES?
For initial treatments, we ideally recommend two INUSpherese® therapy sessions within three days. The first treatment takes place on the first day, followed by a one-day rest period before the second session takes place on the third day.
The subsequent therapy sessions and the total number required vary individually depending on the patient and their specific illness.

CONTRAINDICATIONS OF INUSpherese®
INUSpheresis® is an innovative treatment method that can provide a better quality of life for many patients. However, it is important to consider individual health conditions that may affect the applicability and effectiveness of the therapy. Below are certain medical conditions that require careful coordination with the treatment team:
1. Recent heart attacks or strokes and other acute heart diseases
2. Severe circulatory problems, especially with extremely low blood pressure
3. Multiple diseases in combination with poor general health (e.g. uncontrolled high blood pressure, poorly controlled diabetes, advanced age, severe weight loss)
4. Severe blood coagulation disorders or significant platelet deficiency (therapy can be carried out with moderate anticoagulant intake after appropriate preparation and monitoring)
5. Advanced cancer
6. Acute inflammation or fever
7. Organ failure, such as severe renal insufficiency or renal failure
8. Mental illnesses such as psychosis, panic attacks or pronounced fear of needles or blood
9. Multiple diseases (multimorbidity)
Risks of INUSpherese® therapy may include bleeding complications, such as hematomas at the injection sites.
Furthermore, reversible and harmless detoxification reactions can occur, especially immediately after therapy. These reactions include swelling, tinnitus, fatigue, headaches and a temporary worsening of the primary symptoms.
