How can dementia be slowed down?
Completely halting dementia is not yet possible. However, its progression can be slowed. Crucial factors include early, accurate diagnosis, consistent treatment of risk factors (e.g., high blood pressure, hearing loss, diabetes), modern treatment options such as transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS), and mental and physical activity. The earlier treatment begins, the better the prognosis.

TPS treatment - explained simply.
TPS stands for Transcranial Pulse Stimulation.
Simply put: Gentle pressure waves (shock waves) awaken the brain from the outside – completely without surgery, injections, or medication.
A small handheld device is held against the outside of the head and sends subtle, rhythmic impulses through the skull. These impulses specifically target the brain regions important for memory, language, and orientation.
A session lasts approximately 30 minutes. You sit relaxed and alert in a treatment chair and feel a light tapping on your head – many find it pleasant.
